Our story began in Norwich back in 2014, when we opened the doors to the first Sahara Café.

We wanted to bring a little of North Africa to the city. Somewhere people could enjoy good food, have a proper coffee and feel welcome enough to stay a little longer.

Since then, Sahara has become a familiar part of life in Norwich. We've welcomed countless faces through our doors, from regulars who know exactly what they're ordering to people discovering us for the first time. Some pop in for a quick coffee, while others settle in for a long lunch or a catch-up that lasts well into the afternoon.

Our food takes inspiration from the flavours we grew up with and the things we love about North African cooking. You'll find freshly prepared dishes, homemade treats and, of course, plenty of good coffee.

More than anything, we want Sahara to feel like somewhere you can relax and enjoy being. No special occasion needed.
